Welcome To
Riverside Farm

Riverside Farm camping is a relaxation, boutique back to nature campsite nestled on the tranquil West Sussex & Surrey countryside borders. Camp riverside or on a serene hedgerow among ancient oaks and other trees species.

We encourage you to breathe deeply, watch the sun shimmer off the river Arun and look up at the unpolluted twinkling stars at night fall. Our campsite thrives and is proud of our repeat customers, why don’t you become one to? Talk to us, book with us.

"Please note: We don't allow future guest's to visit the site or unauthorised visits for the privacy of our guests staying at any given time. You MUST be booked to stay to enjoy Riverside Farm Camping, no prior visits are allowed, (nor look around's), thank you."

Camping that’s best enjoyed with friends

Your stay with us

We love to know our guests on first name terms here and never over fill the site, you will have plenty of space and will always be welcomed by someone personally from the family. Call us old fashioned but we don’t do online bookings, you will have to email or call us and talk to one of the family to get a tailor-made stay, this way we can advise perhaps on what pitch may best suit your needs. Talk to us, book with us is the motto ☏

Enjoy hobbies and quality time with friends and family along the riverbanks in a relaxed atmosphere, (group bookings welcome!) extending to the North Down link and the famous double bridge that the river Arun passes on site.

“Riverside farm is a truly fantastic place to set up camp and unwind or branch out into the West Sussex countryside. The campsite is wonderfully relaxed with plenty of space for children (and adults) to play without disturbing the other guests or explore the woodland around the site and river itself. With two local pubs to choose from, a nearby village shop and the Railway line to walk or ride along, it makes a great base for a break.”

We don’t have a club house by choice like other sites so unwinding and enjoying the natural habitat is massively crucial and becomes a very benefitting key factor to our campsite. This is nature at its best. Think almost wild camping with granted permission.

  • We allow well raised fire pits at Riverside farm camping, but if you don’t want to bring a messy fire pit you can hire one from us on site with a free tub of logs, we also sell logs so please enquirer when booking. If you are bringing your own fire pit, please make sure they are raised at least 12 inches off of the ground.

BBQ’s are allowed, however, we asked that these are well raised from the grass and please do not dispose of waste charcoal or waste on our site.

    PLEASE NOTE
There is a £50 fine for leaving waste from fire pits and BBQ’s on our site. CCTV is in operation around the site.

Disposable BBQ’s are not permitted at Riverside Farm.

  • We love nothing more than to hear children’s laughter whilst playing in the open fields and people enjoying themselves, however, we respect other people like quiet time whilst staying rural, not to hinder your fun yet to respect others we have a 10pm noise curfew onsite to be kept to, chatting around an open fire and staying up until late is fine.

We want to make you aware that we always leave the main part of one of our camping fields as an open space so you can relax but yet continuously see and monitor your children whilst they play, We welcome family group bookings as a base to meet up and enjoy a family get together or celebration, did you know if you enquire about a celebration booking be it a birthday or anniversary we’ll also supply a small surprise gift. (We ask that children are always accompanied by an adult - 18 or over).

We encourage you to bring your pooches! But please keep them on a lead/ running line at all times regardless to if they have good manners or are somewhat cheeky, not everyone enjoys being around dogs sadly and we have animals who live here to from grumpy old horses to friendly cats and very tame chickens etc.

About the host

Ashley Ryan

After working in the film industry within the casting department for many years Ashley turned her eye to elevating the family’s small campsite. “I’m passionate about wildlife, countryside, rescue animals and making my little bit of England along with my parents a waterside wilderness with an abundance of breathing space for each guest”. Old fashion camping, with values, valuing our customers, tailoring their camping stay to suit their needs and not cramming as many people in as possible is important. Space, peace for resting and happiness is what we wish for all our guests new and reoccurring. We pride ourselves on our many returning supportive customers.
