Here we have an abundance of local adventures by bike!
We’re adjacent to the North Downs Link which runs from St Martha’s Hill Surrey to the South Downs way via the costal link of Shoreham- by- Sea, Sussex (36.7 miles – 59.1km), then to Brighton and beyond. The easy access is most wonderful for leisure rides or a stop off on route to your destination.
The gravel trail from Putney, London to Brighton runs past our campsite directly.
Pitch Hill Surrey is only 5.8 miles for avid mountain bikers as well as Leith Hill only 7.1 miles away. You also have the 2012 Olympic route close by.
For avid fishermen you shall get a thrill of a catch with some fabulous freshwater carp, pike, perch, roach etc…
If you’re looking for bonding or quality time with friends and family members why not book a pitch riverside and whilst fishing admire the king fishers, ducks & dragon fly’s as well as the fun of the catch! (Fishing must be booked and licenses must be purchased prior from the correct Gov websites, fishing must be within the fishing season).
Fishing is only permitted within the granted river fishing season dates, please seek government websites for dates, advice and rulings.
The river can be enjoyed indeed from a different view with activities along the long and wide stretch of privately owned riverbank. Please note if you do wish to use the river you do so entirely at your own risk, we will not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, death, harm or loss etc.

If you do intend to use the river we advise you to seek contact with local authorities/ platforms who can advise you on water quality such as the local environmental office (Horsham District) for cleanliness/ risk and to keep your head above water at all times.
With the most picturesque of views of the South downs & Leith Hill close by, walks along the north downs link, villages, pubs, a café, a shop, a pharmacy & a brewery all within walking distance along beautiful pathways from Riverside farm, we’re a rural setting yet easily accessible for refreshments, meals and convenience stores. For longer walks and hikes you can get lost for miles without even taking the car or seeing anyone, you’ll have the most fabulous scenery or even check out the local geocaching. If you’re looking for fields, forest, lakes, the river, streams, villages, an old railway stations or bridges we’ve got it all on offer. On our doorstep is the Sussex border path which stretches along the medieval kingdom of southern England and is 150 miles long, not forgetting the West Sussex Literary trail close by to.
